Wambli Ho, Voice of the Eagles was
a Colorado Non-Profit organization from 2002 into 2006. Its internet
Wambli Ho News provided five years of original, timely, and thought-provoking
reports on the Native American world and, in particular, the Lakota Sioux
Nations. Covering issues ranging from the political (Leonard Peltier
coverage and reservation conditions) to the Traditional (protection of
Sacred Ceremony issues) to the historic and educational (event coverage
and interviews) to the spiritual and philosophical (stories and poems),
Wambli Ho News filled a unique role within the indigenous media of its
time through on-line print and photographs.
A specialThank You
The biggest “thank you” goes
to Stephanie M. Schwartz for the thousands of volunteer hours as the
Wambli Ho site Webmaster and Editor. She possesses the Penultimate
Interview and Writing Skills that made Wambli Ho News the success that
it was. I take my hat off to her with respect and admiration. Her product
has reached many, and has influenced many to re-think their postures
and attitudes.
